Self Myofascial Release 1-Day Training

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6TH | 1:00-7:00PM

Facilitated by Victoria Haffer, MS eRYT500, you will learn the Self Myofascial Release Technique – via ball rolling, will reduce trigger points and muscular tension caused by a combination of acute trauma, poor posture, repetitive movement, over-training, and chronic stress. The goal of Self Myofascial Release is to speed the healing and recovery process by breaking down scar tissue, increasing circulation, reducing chronic pain, improving range of motion, while decreasing muscular tension in tight fascial lines of the body. Plus, it just feels so good!
Infomation covered: Proper placement of balls, benefits and contraindications of, various rolling techniques, optimal time to roll, frequency and intensity. Major muscles will be addressed.

PNF Stretching for Yoga

Facilitated by Victoria Haffer, MS eRYT500, you will learn a cutting-edge technique called facilitated stretching or proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), which will increase your range of motion for yoga, or chosen mode of performance. PNF utilizes a spinal cord reflex arc and combines modern Western science with the ancient art of Hatha Yoga. You will learn how to use this technique on your own body, and on others’. Results can be profound. Emphasis will be on anatomy, and the major muscle groups will be addressed: hamstrings, piriformis, pectorals, rotator cuff, and hip adductors.

Yoga Fit Fusion

Starting in September, join us for our 8-week, Yoga Fit Fusion Class offered only at Ruby & Pearl’s Boutique~Yoga.

Classes are at 6:30 am on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Classes are designed to improve your level of fitness, combining Hatha Yoga with traditional fitness moves. Focus will be given to maintaining and improving your yoga practice. You’ll increase flexibility, stamina and strengthen your upper & lower body while working your core – all while maintaining proper alignment.
